Would a female still have time for a relationship with a man if she works 12 hour shifts 6 days a week? (if not, then explain why not)?

In theory, yes, in practice, as long as it isn't serious. 168 hours a week minus 6 hours/night of sleep, minus 1 hour a day of commute (haha), minus 1 hour a day to shower and shit, dress, brush teeth (haha) is 112 hours. Adjust this number accordingly to commute times in your area (round trip), daily/weekly chores (which I didn't include), maybe sleep differences.

112 remaining hours - 72 work hours is 40 hours a week. That sounds like a lot, but at a minimum the chores take time. Cooking, cleaning, eating out all takes a good bit of time. If you've ever lived as a single adult you should know.

Look at how much you work per week. Let's say it's 40 hours. Add up all your free time for the week in 30 minute blocks or whatever. Take the total you have for free time, then subtract 32 from it. That's the difference between "168 - (Work plus living) = free time" for you and for her. If you're currently living a life such that you have 44 hours of free time a week, then she (with the same responsibilities as you) would only have 12. If you rate high enough for her that a good chunk of that 12 goes to her and you're okay with that, roll with it.

For me 12 hours could be one long date or two shorter ones. If that's all we're doing that's not a long term relationship potential, that's permanently "just dating" at best, but the other women I'm "just dating" that do have the time to build a life together are going to be the ones that don't get culled from my social life.

I was working 16 hour shift 5-7 days a week when I got married. It can work for sure.

Yeah. We could still make time here and there. I work weird hours as it is so I can relate. It means he is a hard working dude. I can respect that because while I don't work those long hours I do work hard to support myself. It's all about balancing what time you do have together and making it work. Not all girls would be able to deal with it but I think I could. I'm going to get busy with school anyhow so kinda same.
