In your opioion why do people who dont understand learning difficulties say they are broken and undatable?

Even though no one is perfect, these imperfect people expect perfection (or close to it) from a potential partner. Everyone faces challenges. Some of the most challenged people have made the greatest gains. People are too picky and demanding today. They prioritize what's in it for them rather than what they bring to the relationship. Don't think you'll change a closed mind. Just move on and find people who appreciate you as you are.

Thats not really an accurate representation of the situation.

So it's not that people don't understand learning difficulties and thus find the person undatable or broken, its that people only get along well with people who they relate to.

So a smart person who doesn't want a relationship to fail, is going to want someone on their own comprehension skill level. Anyone who does not think like you, or does not share your hobbies, interests, views, goals, etc, is going to be undatable, no matter who you are, because mental similarilty is extremely important in an SO.

Because they are nasty, spiteful shallow people. They are also chiefly hypocrites, people with learning difficulties are getting left out of the equality pledge.
