For a First date my favourite spot is a lake with cafes around it ideally. Because you can grab a coffee and walk around the lake and chat and get to know each other. Dinner is hella awkward for a first date, and doing an activity seems also a bit uncomfortable with someone you don’t know. A walk is the most relaxing and comfortable option.

I feel ya, I have never been in a relationship and it stings. I would suggest asking her what she likes and making a choice based on that. Show's you listen/care, but make sure it's something you can do with her and talk to her while doing it.
