My boyfriend’s 17 and I’m 19, we really love each other and i’ve never really felt weird or anything about our age gap i don’t know why people make a fuss about it. Do you think it’s okay

Technically no you’re into minors. If he was 18, you were 20 that would be ok. I’d be careful. Even if his parents approved. I worked in a prison for 8 years, had a few men who were 18 come to prison for false accusations. Girl was same age as your boyfriend. The dude cheated on her, she told her parents he raped her. Bam he was in prison. Even though the parents knew they were together. Just be careful. More than likely not going to happen to girls like that, more so for men.

There is nothing wrong with that at all. That is a pretty small age gap. It is right on the line of what some people might say as weird but I certainly don't. So long as you are both happy and have a good relationship that is all that really matters. If you can make it work with that little age gap then good for you two. It would be a lot stranger and not really okay if you were my age and he was that young but you two are close enough.

A 2-year age difference doesn't make an iota of difference. There are lots of couples in which the woman is older. Some are more than 10 years older, but it works for them.
