And im not talking about something cheap i talking about splitting a bill of 150 bucks minimum or at least the dude takes 100 and you take 50, as your doing so would show your willingness to pull your weight.

Hell no that isn't unreasonable. I usually like to suggest splitting on first dates because you never know if their will be a second so I find it fair to split. That is pretty common with my friends too. I think most of them follow the same way I deal with it. Takes so pressure away too to be honest. I don't want to feel like I owe him anything. We are even and can just worry about getting to know each other.
