He is 6 years younger than me?

I met him online, he is 22 i'm 28 . Initially none of us talked about age and when he asked me i said 24 as people say i look like 24 later fell in deep love with him then being honest i myself told him that i'm 28. he is hurt and he said its over too but I said I love him then he didn't leave me but he doesn't talk with me as before. What should I do. Do I act normal or leave him. Is there any hope?

The hope is thin, you broke his trust, his behavior changed, it's quite a normal reaction for the situation if you haven't realized but Id say your best bet is to be straight up and give him the choice, you tell him that y'all don't speak like y'all used too and that you feel like y'all have fallen off and that your age was the only thing you've been hiding from him and that you understand if he wants to cut ties with you but you do care about him and you kinda hoped maybe something could've been worked out, then from there he can choose if he wants to grow trust to you again or not.
