Is the main reason why a lot of people who aren’t transgender aren’t interested in dating trans people is because you can’t have kids with them?

I think the pregnant part does play a part. To me you can meet plenty of really nice women who were born women. I don’t want to be with someone who is very similar but not exactly the same. A hairdresser I know is trans and really looks like a woman, just the adams apple and the voice that give it away. The voice is too important to me, the fact she’s had surgery to have her v also kind of puts me off. In the back of my head she once had a penis. Her bone structure is slightly more manly than most women I would ever date. And well She didn’t grow up as a woman. I could try to look past all this if I didn’t want kids but I could meet a woman who was born a woman and doesn’t have any of these things that put me off.

Straight people want to date someone of the opposite gender in which case they are not very attracted to someone who pretends to be of the same gender.

Gays/lesbians want to date someone of the same gender so they are not very attracted to someone pretending to be of the opposite gender.

Bisexuals are fine with both but they have the whole dating pool available for them so competition will be though.

That is a reason, but not the main reason. The main reason is that they don't want to date a man pretending to be a woman, or vice versa.

Bluntly most transgenders suffer some degree of mental illness. Most of them who attend the clinics & pharmacies I and/or friends work at ARE undergoing treatment for mental illnesses such as bipolarism or schizophrenia. Even if this wasn't the case the mental instability of trans is revealed in their inability to cope with even the smallest "slight" such as calling them a she instead of a he shortly after they "came out".

An untreated mental health issue IS dangerous.

THAT is more reason why straight, even bi or gay, people are not interested in dating trans than them not being able to have kids. Bi / gay people can't necessarily have kids

Not to mention a trans doesn't physically act like a man or a woman - for one, the "vagina" can not self lubricate so it's about as realistic to an actual vagina as pointing at a fake pumpkin and calling it an apple.

That's, pretty much, my only reason. I'd have no problem going places with them like, my one trans friend and I went to see The Monkees together. Another time, she was going about 2 hours west of here to visit a sick friend (another trans woman) in the hospital and invited me to ride along with her. After the visit with her friend, we hit several record shops in the area and bought a lot of great psych albums!
Another night, we drove back to that area to go see a band she was raving about and asked me to go see with her.
