Why does a cheater guy get offended when his girl cheats back on him after she found that he's cheating on her?

Actually the real reason behind it is because people who often cheat are manipulative and narcissists. So their partner cheating on them is like a huge offence as they view themselves being on top of everyone and has the right to do anything they want. So the person cheating back on them is like they set an imagine that they are no longer on top and not the controller.

Classic hypocrite. Usually the initial cheater comes up with "reasons" of why they cheated in the first place, and it's often because they'll blame their partner for doing something to steer them that way, to try and eliminate fault. They also usually think it was justified and shouldn't have been taken so seriously and that things could have been fixed. Once their partner cheats back, they think the other person was cheating as revenge, which to them is not a good reason, while their reasons were great reasons.

I remember reading Valerie Bertinelli's book "Losing It", where she went into terrific depth and description about her side affair with some guy, while her husband Eddie Van Halen was also cheating on her. She disgraced Eddie by describing his affairs as him being selfish and damaging their marriage, but she made a point of portraying herself as having this deep connection with her side piece, as if it was more meaningful. I read this with such disappointment, that Valerie was skewing the reader to believe her cheating was a beautiful, therapeutic thing with a wonderful man, while Eddie's cheating was just dirty and meaningless.

I didn't buy any of it. Cheating is shitty, no matter if the cheater thinks it was a good thing or a justified thing--it never is. This goes for the person who engages in revenge cheating too. If the relationship has gotten to the point where it's getting shittier and shittier with bad behaviour and revenge behaviour, it's long overdue to get out of it.

I don't get upset with cheating so long as there's no pregnancy and she isn't sneaking around. Otherwise, she's free to openly see other guys and not worry about ruining our relationship. I get a bit jealous sometimes but it mostly turns me on knowing she's fucking other guys. In fact, I want her to go to Vegas and have a fling. I want her to fuck the stripper at a hen party. So long as she's committed to me, she's free to have a separate sex/love life outside the relationship and not have to worry about getting caught. However, if she gets serious with a guy and wants to be with him permanently as well, it's fine so long as nobody gets neglected. I know it's a double standard, but women should be able to date as much as they want and their husbands should be supportive and encourage to enjoy their lives without having a stigma attached to being thought of as a whore.
