When a man gets cheated but only goes after the dude, is he just as upset at her too?

One of my friend's younger brother got cheated on. He went after the other guy and fought him. The dude knew she was taken. A couple other men reacted like that too, charging at the other man.

Long ago before I was even born, that's how my father responded too when my mom was his girlfriend. She cheated with his friend. He kicked his ass, gave him a bruised eye.

One thing in common with them: the girl was spared. She saw his full rage when fighting the other guy. He only insulted her.

Even though they all went after the guy, I can't help but wonder he would be just as upset at her too?

Logic would follow that the woman is the one at fault most of all.

I think male animal instinct though, especially if the chick is basically all he can get of that caliber (or at least he thinks so), might become a thing where he'll mate guard by trying to scare off all the guys. Women will also play it off as if they were a victim somehow. "I was drunk" type stuff. I had one chick try to claim the guy rapped her... it was a lie... I found out she agreed to be his secret sex buddy amongst her new set of friends. All fun and games until the truth comes out.

I agree with the other guys in this case. Generally speaking, there is only one reason why a woman decides to let someone else, other than her boyfriend or husband get his dick inside her -- because she finds his dick more pleasurable to wriggle and gush on than her regular partner's penis. That's it, that's all. There's no need to overthink it.

That sounds similar to a cheating man sowing his wild oats. While for male cheater it's about variety, the female cheater is likely for that reason you're given. Both sound like raging hormones cases.

I think you're absolutely right, and I find it fascinating that, according to what I've read, some women apparently enjoy cheating on their boyfriends and husbands repeatedly, and actually having intercourse more frequently with the guys they're cheating with than their own partners.

Perhaps this might sound naive but I would like to think mom stopped cheating afterwards and that she was remorseful as the journal says. She chose dad in the end and stayed with him. My parents are 51 years by now; neither of them in their primes anymore.

It has nothing to do with the inherent man the women could have told him anything. She wanted what she wanted and got it I would have just walked away happy

I didn't need to know their past. I grew up thinking I had the perfect family and how a marriage is like. All my concepts and values come from my upbringing.

I grew up without a father always wondering who I was I meant him when I was 27 and I realized who I didn't want to be so take that journal and look for the positive don't look for the negative because it's not about the negative it's about something beautiful that you can learn from it that you can grow from it there's no such thing as perfect and you don't want to be perfect anyway because then you're not growing you're not becoming a better person believe me the life that you've LED there's nothing wrong with that life you said you thought you lived in a perfect world you can't say you did and then all of a sudden because you read something it changed it it didn't change anything you already let that life you cannot change that you can only grow from the things you know it's not a bad thing believe me you will find something very beautiful that comes from it you just have to look at it the right way and be honest with yourself

Well, that's weird... I think when someone cheats... The full responsibility and blame must be on them... They're the one who allow it and make the decision 🤷‍♂️... If they cheated with a friend or someone familiar... They get the blame too.. But I think your main focus should be on the person who allowed all this to happen in the first place...

Yes I believe the cheater 100% at fault. If my husband cheated, I wouldn't care about the other woman. I would be saying all the mean words in the dictionary to him only and file for divorce.
If it's with a friend or one of my sisters, yeah both would be getting cursed out. I imagine saying "both of you POS, get out of my life".

If I ever caught my husband cheating with one of my friends, after telling them both they're POS, say that both deserve each other and the woman can have him. Then obviously file for divorce. The only time I would find myself on fighting mode would be if some other woman were harassing my husband and he's told her many times to get lost.
But fighting for a cheater? What for if they chose to do the dirty deed. Both are worthless.

I guess it depends on the person. Ironically, my parents (both cheated on each other... dad had a revenge affair years later; ok so he can't complain anymore I guess) raised a woman that believes in old-fashioned values. I tried to make it a virgin on my wedding but my then fiance (now husband) and I got tempted. We were just 2 months away from the wedding.
All my beliefs, ideas, never stealing someone's hard work, make your own money, concept on love and commitment ironically came from my upbringing. I thought I had the perfect family, lol. I never knew they cheated on each other until I accidentally read dad's journal last year. Ok not bad I guess. They did something right, raising me right even though they had their flaws.

Yes she did. I read dad's old journal. She was caught in the act, on his couch. Base on the journal, it said she was on top of his friend.
That must be some self restrain, going after just the guy but sparing the girl.
