How to meet someone off of dating apps?

I've been on and off the dating apps for years and have no interest in ever going on again. I would like to meet someone organically but have no idea how. I have hobbies but the people in these groups have become like family... How exactly do you meet someone these days (who has morals and isn't just looking for a hookup)? Not interested in bars or clubs, not the kinds of men I'm interested in.

Your only 24, I would say slow down with the expectations and just see what happens. IT will happen when your not expecting it. Even if that means more years. Also, what apps have you been on?

I met my ex wife on Match something like 18 years ago. Post divorce and in the past few years I have been on as many as 7 dating apps at one time. Dating in your 20's is nothing like middle aged divorced dating with kids. Anyway, I could go on for paragraphs about all of that... I will spare you that.

So, I go back to what apps you have been on, because I still feel that is an option and I can understand the frustration. I would never have ever met a woman on Tinder and I paid for it for 6 months and was on it for 2 years, just a total mess for someone with morals. Zoosk not so great either but better. Eharmony is great for nice guys, but you need to pay for that one. Iv'e always liked Match, but you need to pay for it to make it work as well. Bumble is good and Hinge is the only one I have been on for over a year now. I really like Hinge for good people. That said, I am not sure there are many 20 yo olds on some of these, but if there are, maybe they are good guys you want to meet.

I've used hinge, bumble, facebook dating (ridiculous, I know), and tinder. Hinge was probably the best, I agree.

Ok, got it done the apps. So, I get it that you're looking for the nice guy type. Do you like to and feel comfortable doing things yourself? Since I am single again, I go to dinner, go to events, got to parks and even travel alone. I don't even think about taking a solo cruise and going to the dining room alone every night anymore. People get a kick out of it, but I am having fun.

I ask, because when I put myself in places where I know there might be women that I am interested in when I am solo, without a doubt, glances get shared and then it is all about someone starting the conversation. I love it when she makes that move and then I will take it from there.

Everyone I've spoken too that are in relationships all have something in common and that is that they didn't plan falling in love and didn't plan who they ended up with, it was just unpredictable so I can't really say there's a way tbh, it just happens, you can always help your chances with getting out there more tho

Everyone knows im single and hoping to meet my person. I've had coworkers set me up with people, but I haven't meshed with them. And my social circle outside of work is pretty limited due to outgrowing childhood friendships as an adult. Don't even get me started on how hard it is to make friends as an adult too 😂

I hear church groups can still work, as can meeting people through friend groups. But I think that’s about it, especially if you’re looking to meet someone for a serious relationship. Most people are too busy or unpredictable to be approached anymore.

I tried them a few times, I know what I believe, I just haven’t found a church I liked very much, felt like an outsider. If you have a lot of female friends you can see if they want to set you up with someone that they think is compatible with you. Cold approaches and just casually meeting people isn’t really a thing anymore, so you have to really make an effort to put yourself out there.

That sucks, and so do dating apps. The best way to meet someone is on meetup. com.
Dating apps are bull shit. On meetup you have to meet. It could be hiking, biking, wine tasting or dinner. Your best bet would be a dancing event. If you can manage the travel, you will probably find a boyfriend in 5 minutes. As a matter of fact, you can message other people on the site. You can ask questions about the various events. Christmas and Halloween parties aren't all that far off, and I can tell you that you will definitely find your guy. But the travel part will be the problem.
