I don't like dating apps, they could possibly work for me, but I really need to meet a guy in person first. I just can't think of any good locations, places and events to meet someone decent and normal.

I am 24, I would date up to 34 (so 10 years difference).

The problem is maybe my lack of friends, I have no one to go out with and I feel like going by myself is pathetic? In certain situations and to certain places at least. Why I don't have friends anymore? Because most of them turned out to be fake and with others I have parted ways.

I met my wife at a restaurant a few months before i started working. She was my server and the single most beautiful creature I had ever beheld. I asked her out 3 times didn't get a no or a yes the first 2 just a blush and a giggle.

However your question was where do you meet people without apps. well statistics and relationships people claim that you meet your future husband or wife in 1 of 3 ways. 1. work. 2. friends or family introduction and 3. hobbies.
wife response: The above he was quite handsome but I thought he was kidding the first time he asked the second time he asked I thought okay maybe but why me I am a server. the third time I told him we should talk. I very much intended to tell him that I had no money, I did have 2 degrees from my home country in fields I didn't particularly want to work in. he didn't care. so I told him I was older than him. he still wasn't phased. and now here I am 16 years later a very happy woman with 3 children from an amazing husband.

When meeting someone off the internet it’s best to meet them in a public place , like a restaurant or a bar or somewhere where other people are around you , just so you both feel safe

Concert, music festivals, the beach, travelling, shopping, town activities, even the gym, participate in random conference of an interest subjects, go to a horse show, race car events, spend your money, and dress to attract the types you like. Whatever you like doing to enjoy yourself!
You don’t event have to do them uncontrollably, just the efforts according to your mean 😪.

You can meet people anywhere at any time. I met my husband grocery shopping. Another guy I dated I met at a train station. A friend met her guy just walking down the street.

Do you have any hobbies that would allow you to sign up for something where you would interact with new people?

For example, if you liked Magic the Gathering, D&D, etc. you could join something at a local hobby store. If you were into riding bikes, you could go on STRAVA and join with a local riding group to meet people interested in that.

It is hard to meet people these days. I met my wife at the beach when I was 24 . When I was in my 30s I went back to college at night and noticed there were many database women there
