Jealous of what exactly? The fact that they're good looking? That they have a partner that is good looking? Or that they're a couple? Because, no.

My brother-in-law is a good looking man. Whenever we go anywhere together yes I notice women staring at him not at me.😆 But he also works out religiously. So he's earned all of that. He also has a bad back that he's already had surgery on and had an implant put in to give him relief. I will still take my largely healthy back over what he's got going on ANY DAY. I guess the point of what I'm saying is, envy is normal. But you have to look at the WHOLE picture. That picture perfect marriage (not talking about my brother-in-law). Could be one giant facade. Always be grateful for what God has given you. Honor those gifts. And never be so envious of other people's blessings. Not all of what you see is as rosey as you think.

For me, brief feelings of jealousy or insecurity only arise when I see that a guy who is uglier than me has managed to get himself a girlfriend leagues above his looks. Someone that I would be attracted to.

But it's only ever a brief primordial emotional reaction. It never leaves my head. Thennn I remember the many things about relationships that I wouldn't like to go through & begin to think about the many positives of staying single for me. But of course, I still feel that primordial part of me wanting to experience certain positive emotions of good relationships. But I fight it.

no to being jealous, no to being motivated by them. guess i really don't care 🤷‍♀️ im accomplished in healthcare, own my own home and its paid off- so i dont feel the need to elevate my life to compete with anyone else. im on my own path with my own view ahead with very little blocking my visual

I might think good for them or do a double take, but honestly I don’t actually care. It doesn’t change how I view myself or my partner. I’m pretty comfortable being average and most people are really nice to me and my boyfriend when we are out in public together

Not at all. I sometimes think, are they really meant for each other or did they never get past (or are still in) the initial attraction phase.

Don't get me wrong, I know some good looking that get along swimmingly, however, some are clearly in the relationship because they got their trophy and not willing to throw it back into the mainstream, even though they should.
