Does anyone have positive experiences after writing a really long message to a romantic interest or partner who has been distant?

I'm curious if long messages are always seen as needy or not. Sometimes I feel like a long message is needed to get some points across, but what do you think? Please share any experiences.

Writing a long message about important matters should be your absolute last resort. If this is a guy you’re interested in building a future with then you MUST have the courage to talk, face to face, about things that bother you. If you’re that scared or reluctant to say something as simple as “I feel like you’ve been distant lately” then you will talk yourself out of addressing topics that are even mildly confrontational.

My message to my boyfriend at the time was a sweet long love letter and he really liked it! Doubt he read it all but he really liked it in highschool!

Depends what needs to be said and how bit my cards always are whole pages long!

My hubby loves all my emotions poured into my cards! He has asked me to write a card for bed time too
