Guys, Men, I’m what I would consider a decently attractive person who is told often she is funny beautiful and non judgmental and easy to talk to?

And I often find that men assume I am taken/ married and do not bother any advances or to show interest, I’ve been told all this great things make it scary and hard to believe and so men stay away, what can I do to set myself up in the space to show that I’m available? Men often later say wow had I known I would have said something but what can I do to change this?

As others have said, the way we operate has totally changed been made to work against those of us who want to meet someone. When I was in my 20s it was simpler, u got set up, just talked to others, took a chance and try to start a conversation in real life...

Now as a 39 year old man, I'm not sure how anyone else can make a connection... I'm in a similar position as u except from a male POV, I would totally welcome a woman, especially one who is interested in friendship/relationship actually interacting as HUMANS!

It's my feeling there are many like us, buy we r all just lost at this point and there's no specific way to find like minded people. Everyone is very anti-social or friendly on the outside, but could give a damn if they ever saw me again- even though we have a lot in common... its a very shit feeling.

I’ve done this and they shy away because I was the more forward one ( because I have to be ) otherwise they will just stare with this ( I want to approach her but look) I can tell they want to speak and the times that I have done the approaching and the investing in showing interest they say what there’s no way no way you like me stop like they don’t believe me? Something else must be going on here. Men in general approach women less nowadays due to all of the new risks and / or issues involved. A lot of women have no idea just how much the whole game has changed over the years.
