Are people who ghost simply cowards or just lazy?

I think it can be either of those things, some people just don't feel like speaking anymore because it's exhausting getting little communication back, or they just don't have the guts to tell someone they're not interested. There can definitely be a few reasons behind it.

I say cowards. I always tell people this, I don't bite just tell me I won't be mad, so ghosting someone is just kinda a I'm too scared to say anything and a big fuck you.

Possibly cowardly. But I might just ghost if the person was annoying. One girl would send 300 text messages between 1 am and 3 am. Even then I just turned my phone off massed deleted her texts in the morning. If she expected me respond she was highly delusional.

Some times its just not worth that last piece of drama that the woman wants, for instance my last relationship I found out that she was cheating on me, we both had our own places, so I policed any of my stuff that I'd left at her place, and at the same time dropped of what she'd left at mine, I left a note on her kitchen table "I know about the affair, We are done, Do not contact me" with my key to her place on top of it, left her place and moved on with life, and never looked back.

I believe it because people are afraid of getting her and falling in love, and are very emotionally disconnected nowadays. I believe that’s the main reason for friends with benefits Situationships or whatever you wanna call it everyone is afraid to get to close and Wahl mom because they’ve been severely hurt by an ex, I had a friends with benefit for over a year, and he even told me that

I'd call them cowards yes. unless they think there is a legitimate threat they will be physically attacked they should just tell them upfront if they wish to no longer speak to them.
