Why would a guy ignore your question?

So met this guy on a dating app. We exchange a few messages back and forth on the app. I asked to speak on the phone, which he agreed to. He never gave me a time for the next day to speak. I had to follow up with him. When we did speak and at the end of the phone call, he asked to meet- he's not specific about what like for drinks or dinner. I ask for drinks, and we come up with a day. The next day, he cancels and asks for a different day, which we agreed to. I then text him to confirm the plans of getting drinks are still good, and he just ignores that. Why?

Man, some guys are just flakes, you know? There could be a few reasons he's ignoring that question:

1. He lost interest. Sometimes after talking a little, a guy decides he's not that into a girl after all. Not your fault! He might not wanna say that so he just ghosts.

2. He's talking to other girls. Maybe he got distracted messaging someone new and decided to blow you off. Double lame.

3. He's shy. It's possible the phone call went okay but he got nervous about the date. Easier to disappear than admit he chickened out.

4. He's playing games. Some dudes act all interested to get attention but have no intention of following through. Just messing around.

Who knows what his deal is, honestly. Wouldn't spend too much time worrying about it though - clearly he's not that great at communicating. You'll probably match with other guys who are actually down to meet up. This clown isn't worth your time. Just unmatch and move on, his loss!

Not sure when this happened, if it was like yesterday you could wait til tomorrow and check in but in my mind, he knows what he’s doing. He knows he canceled the plans, didn’t set another date and ignored your message, he’s making a big choice seemingly not interested anymore. I get it, you’re on a dating app and the point is to find the right person, which ultimately you may not be and someone else has his attention. Still he could at least say that.

Yeah, he did set another date but when I wanted to confirm we were still good for drinks, that's when he blew me off.
