Well, what was the question you asked him? It doesn't really mean anything. He may have gotten busy, don't want to talk or answer right now, or maybe he really is ignoring you with that question and passively-aggressively wants you to change the subject. All you can do is treat him like any normal person and not take it too literally. He'll answer when he does. If he answers back but forgot or ignores the question, just remind him that he didn't answer your question. Get the answer out of him. COMMUNICATE this. Never try to ask these open-ended questions to strangers, because we can give you the wrong answer and then mess up your relationship with the other person due to you neglecting to confront them about it. Ask him. And if he finds you annoying, all well. It means he can't handle communication or respect you.
