Honestly, I have no idea anymore. So, this is a good question, seriously I am not just saying that. Like I read it, and it really made me think about it.

So, in the last two years, I have been on 17 first dates. We talk, and everything seems seamless... like no awkward silences... we laugh and have a good time. We hold hands, and we walk around for little bit. I have had dates at the mall, where you meet in the food court for the first time and then just walk around the mall together and if the date is going well you ask her if she wants to sit down and eat. I have done walks in the park for the first dates... those are nice.

I mean I have several first dates, where it just seems like she is really nice. Like said we sat met in the mall or park, and we walk around we hold hands, we sit a bench together and just talk. You even kiss at the end, and she is an amazing kisser.

But shortly after she is distant, and you basically never see her again. She just disappears on you, swept away by the tides of life. They even tell you the date was wonderful and how much they enjoyed it... but you try to make a second date and they get all non-committal about it like they are suddenly busy all the time.

So honestly at this point, I am not sure what a good first date is, but you definitely know what a bad one is.
