Anyone else hate texting as much as I do?

I can't even have a conversation via text. Pecking away at tiny keys is tedious. I hate it.
And something about it seems cowardly or anti-social.

You also make a really good point about it taking away from having real conversation when you actually meet. I agree with you. And it takes away the thrill and excitement of meeting.

I much prefer meeting in person, seeing how a person looks and dresses, observing their reactions, mannerisms and body language. That's how people get to know each other without wasting time. And it's fun going someplace or doing something with someone. It's like a holiday.

I get the feeling that people these days are too up tight.

I despise it at this point lol and it’s irritating how people use it as a measurement for how interested someone is. Like no I just like being to myself and share what I’ve been doing in person lol

Nah, I read around 4 hours a day most days on a large variety of subjects. I have many interests, hobbies, and life experiences.
