What if a guy was in a relationship with you, but kept doing things that hurt you and tells you a year later that he sabotaged it on purpose?

Wow. I guess if I still stayed with him despite all those sabotaging tactics, I would feel pretty proud of myself for enduring all of that, and I would feel relieved that none of his actions were true, and feel better about myself overall.

Had I known he was setting me up and hurting me on purpose for a year, he's lucky he moved away. He used to get me so full of anxiety that I started smoking cigarettes again. I stopped now though.

You need a guy who cares about your heart more than yourself. You shouldn't be with a guy who wants to break your heart on purpose. You're absolutely right about him!! He was a real snake in the grass. He was a liar, and a man whore!!
Well, one thing I can be sure of is that he won't be hurting me or his brother or anyone else because he died last month, but not before taking off with all my savings I had from before he lived here.
Thank God he didn't die here at home. I wouldn't want to see that!

I'm sorry. I didn't knew about that. If he passed away, he might have some unresolved issues due to which he would act a certain way. We can't be sure why he did that, he might have done that so you could move on easily. We can't judge a person who might did it on a purpose who might have cared about you and your future in the long run. In any circumstance, pray for his peace. You can forgive him in this kind of situation and move on with grace. Even though he might have hurt you in the past, forget about that and forgive him and move on. My previous opinion can only be considered if he was alive and still continuing to hurt you no matter how much you want him not to hurt you. But if he might be sabotaged it on purpose that he might pass away one day, I understand that he might be preparing you to tackle his absence from beforehand. Even if it's not a right way and immaturity on his end, you can forgive him and not keep any negative thoughts about him after all these happened.

I am having a hard time forgiving him for ripping me off of all my savings that was a lot, and in cash. Someone told me it went for drugs. Why wouldn't it? He probably had a party and threw my money up in the air so everyone could buy some drugs.
The thing is, I never did anything wrong or bad to him. I've been watching his back even when he moved away for 3 years. Then when he came to live with me, I needed help with cooking, etc. Everyday he said I love you to me. Even on the phone for those 3 years he was away. He didn't have to say that, or even call me for that matter. Oh well, it is what it is. Like I said, he cannot hurt me or lie to me anymore and I am the one that deserves the peace.

You can't judge someone based on their drug addiction. Even if he was addicted to drugs he might have loved you. His love for you can't be estimated with his drug addiction. Drugs are bad but it might become a hard habit to break if they are habituated to it. He should have hard time getting off that habit while still loving you. A guy only says that he loves you when he really does. It can't be said as a lie. Even if he is an inconsistent guy he will only say that he loves you when he does. So when he said you that he loved you every day it may mean that he might have loved you truly. He might have lied you about his habits but can still love you truly. I don't say that this is a healthy relationship but a toxic one which can be understood and his actions also can be understood even though you don't think it can be accepted
