Is modern dating better in America or Continental Europe?

I'm an average looking guy. American women come off as confrontational and unapproachable but based off just two weeks in Italy women there would smile just seem more open in general.

Two reason why I think that is. First reason why you consider women so “uptight” in the US is because we have a higher crime rate, and a lot of femicide. A lot more compared to our Italian counterparts.


Second, Spanish/Italian countries are centered around amicability and family. Smiling at strangers is normal, even kissing them as a greeting is considered normal.


I believe it’s all a cultural thing, but that doesn’t mean Italian women are easier to pickup. That’s just dumb. :|

Europeans are usually a lot more tidy, and modern than Americans. In facts, Italian womans smile, kiss, or even hug doesn't mean that she's actually into you. Just much more part of the culture. Americans are usually playing bad girls role, of course, that doesn't apply to all, because that's what I know from experience.
