- 15 years is a big difference in life experience. She might be in a totally different stage of life than you - thinking about kids/no kids, mortgage, retirement, etc. Could cause issues.

- Legally an adult consenting relationship so no issues there. But some people might judge or see it as weird. Up to you if you care what others think.

- Maturity levels vary person to person of course, but usually folks in their 40s have their shit more together than us 20-somethings. Just be aware of potential power imbalance.

- Common interests may be harder to find over such a gap. But again, depends on the individuals.

Ok, if you don't want kids and really have chemistry, I say go for the date then man! Chemistry is so important, and without the kid thing being a factor, that takes away one of the main drawbacks of a big age gap. Just be upfront that you're not sure how long term it could be so no one gets their hopes up. But you never know, some big age gap relationships do work out long term if both people are on the same page. At least give it a shot and see how the date goes. Maybe she thinks you're mature for your age and you think she's young at heart - could balance out the age difference. I'd say go for it dude, what've you got to lose for one date? Just don't put all your expectations on it working out long term right off the bat. Have fun with it and see where things lead!
