I noticed there are two different people, who will you be willing to cut off, family or love?

If my partner doesn't respect my family, I will cut my partner off.

If my family doesn't respect my partner, I will cut my family off.

It always amuses me when this question is asked because it completely IGNORES the elephant in the room. Why does his family need to be cut off?

I'll be the first person to say your spouse ALWAYS comes first. But I have very hard time believing that I'd marry a woman (or that my family would let me marry a woman they didn't approve of). So I can't imagine this EVER coming up.

I have see a lot of women that ask this question that got to be "Queen bees". Every woman is competition to them. My mother and my sisters are not competition, and never will be to her. If she thinks so then that would give me serious questions about her "control" issues.

it depends on why they don't respect them, for now i can't imagine cutting my family off so i chose the first option
