I think when social media enters the equation, a lot of things are ruined. There are way too many people who get their expectations of dating and relationships from what they see on TikTok. Encounters are used for content. Private matters are put on the internet in order to gain clout or sympathy.

Well I think young average men are killing themselves because even average and below average women have stupid high expectations for women that we can’t do anything about

Back in the day people accepted the reality of “like marries like”. It’s old fashioned and seems dated, but it’s still true. If you were a 4, you dated other people who were 4s. If you were a 7, you probably had a chance with an 8 or 9. And a 4 was smart enough to know they wouldn’t have a chance with a 9.

I honestly can’t speak for everyone. I consider myself a fat ugly woman. A 1 body with a 4 face. And the man I’m with is, by most people’s standards, a 6. But to me he is a 7. And his character elevates him to a 10. Is he Ryan Renolds? No. Is he everything I want in a man? Absolutely. Does he view me as more valuable than I view myself or how most people view me? Definitely.

But to answer your question, yes I believe average men have a chance at finding a suitable woman. It’s just a matter of being patient, and also discerning when it comes to the kinds of women you interact with.
