I'm civil & polite. I prefer to be a constructive type of person. Which is why I do value facts a bit more than I do feelings. Not to say that I don't cater to feelings. I'll do so but to a degree. Most people I encounter will say that I'm nice & chill because I really am. I don't start drama.
But ofc like everyone I've got a shadow & it's very protective. I really try inhibit it during the times where it wouldn't benefit me though. Because it loves chaos. I don't know why but it does. Like for instance, I could not want to fight someone but I know that I'd enjoy doing so if they escalated things. I can almost feel my testosterone increase when my status is threatened. Like how some fighters feel when they're punched. They might smile because it keeps them alert & gives them energy.

Well only to some extent. However I can also quickly get defensive and rigid in mentality depending on what the other person is saying or doing.
I don't think a really polite person will be like this. Hence I am polite only to a small extent.

I think I am, I got good manners too but if the other person is being disrespectful or annoying to me, while I won’t necessarily be disrespectful, I’ll stop being polite.
