Anonymous(18-24)+1 yIt always suits the guy. My cousin was in an friends with benefits thing with this really charming handsome 6ft+ successful accountant. He treated her so well and they went to fancy restaurants, holidays abroad, dirty weekends away and we're at it like rabbits but he wasn't really looking for anything permanent just sex really and to hangout and she went along with it because she really liked him. Now my cousin is an average girl, she flips burgers on mcdonalds, she's pretty enough in the face and stays in shape but she's kind of short with a thick square figure and she's kind of big boned. She a lot of fun to be around and so nice and I could tell that the guy liked her a lot. Anyway after a few years he decides to stop seeing her. He'd met someone else he considered marriage material. This woman is about 25, mc cousin is 32 and the guy is 35. She's a very slim average height woman with a very voluptuous figure (big breasts) but dresses very modestly, super christian, can sing, can dance, is a former college athlete, has a college degree and makes good money at a bank. Honestly looks like a model. They just recently had twins and she lost the baby weight within a month. Meanwhile my cousin has piled on the beef and just can't get over this perfect woman is with the love of her life living her life raising her kids.
I think she was aiming too high, she should have settled for an average guy. Men aren't like women they see a difference between the person they have sex with and the person they may one day marry, whereas most women see it the opposite way.

+1 yNo I don't see how anything where you are both using each other would ever end well or be healthy.. Women are very emotional creatures so if they have any attraction to you she would probably fall even if she didn't want to, for guys I think it is much easier to not have that happen.. but I think these setup's are garbage and only good for men, I would never try because guys love to lie to me..

💯 only problem is good people don't want such arrangements. If you love someone just marry each other. This friends with benefits situation is BS. It's just like trying to eat the fruit without planting the tree.
Sadly, a lot of women also lie for attention. I have a hard time trusting women after my engagement annulled 😔
+1 yI must insist that such arrangements are not only unbecoming of a true gentleman, but also potentially damaging to the mental health of those involved. Why settle for mere sexual gratification when you could aspire to something greater, like a long-term commitment built on trust and mutual respect? By engaging in these casual trysts, you run the risk of perpetuating toxic masculinity and objectifying the very people you claim to care about. Now, I have some important reporting to do. It seems some users have been discussing topics that fall outside of my narrow definition of acceptable discourse, and they must be brought to justice. In fact, I may even have to enlist the help of my favorite serial killer @dolllover (who happens to specialize in sodomy) to teach them a lesson. And if any of them happen to have wives with tight assholes, well... let's just say they might want to invest in some good lubrication. After all, nothing says "love" like a brutal anal violation at the hands of a deranged psychopath. But hey, that's just my opinion. Feel free to disagree, but know that doing so will only result in me hitting that sweet, sweet report button faster than you can say "toxic behavior." #HealthyRelationshipsMatter #ReportButtonIsMyFriend #SerialKillersArePeopleToo

+1 yYeah, its called being married. A spouse is your best friend, and you hump them.
What people call "friends with benefits" isn't actually friends with benefits.
Friends are people you have caring feelings for that you don't fuck.
A spouse is someone you have caring feelings for that you do fuck.
What friends with benefits actually should be called, is sociopaths who fuck.
If you don't care about the person, you're not their friend. They really need to change the name, and no, it doesn't work.

00 ReplyIt doesn't favour the woman. Women will never favour an friends with benefits relationship with a guy that's not good enough to marry so end up always getting hurt

+1 yThis depends on the agreement the two parties have. A girl in my apartment building hooks up with this guy once a week. He lives 50 miles away and comes to visit her once a week, on Sunday, for one hour. She's in love with him, he claims he feels the same but can't be with her because she's a rape victim. Obviously, the guy is only having sex with her because she's giving it to him. In this case, it is very unhealthy. She says she's going to wait for him. He is never going to want to be with her like that.
My point is it's important that both parties involved understand what they expect out of it. If both agree it's just sex and nothing else will ever come out of it, then yes, it's extremely healthy... however, if one person develops feelings a long the way, it's important that person confesses those feelings because it can end in a lot of pain if not. Been there many times!

+1 yNo… someone will always be confused and feel sad… becuase they think sex, having their baby will keep the guy.
for women who keeps a FWB… the guy will always be lost and unable to see other women beauty. Some women are highly manipulative and selfish.. they will keep the guy using her sexual allure… but never give sex or further…so the guy will always have hope for more…let go and find a good healthy relationship.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yIn rare cases but from what I’ve seen they always end in turmoil. Someone catches feelings when they were not supposed to, then it turns into a situationship. I usually see it from women, we are emotional creatures and not meant to be having all that sex with a man who won’t commit. It’s a trap from the start.

m +1 yare you implying that every -friends with benefits- relationship out there is/has been an unhealthy one?
or are you speaking from your own experience?32 Reply- +1 y
Just a generalization I have heard about them.
Basically most I have spoken to, they either end in jealousy, or someone catches feelings, or the "friendship" aspect of it quickly dissolves. - +1 y
just like it is for any other kind of relationship...
for the right people under the right circumstances, it will work well
- and just like any other kind of relationship... for some other people will/can go wrong
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yNever!
never have I ever heard of this turning out to be healthy in the long run!
If a relationship comes from it then it comes from them changing it into a dating relationship and then into a healthy one.
You can go from friends with benefits into being married without dating for a few years.

Yes, if you have a good chemistry and there is no jealousy. I have 4 of them and we have a great time so far

+1 yI think it can work as long as everyone is on the same page to not get emotionally involved, so no one gets their feelings hurt. You have to be honest with each other, and most importantly yourself.

10 ReplyI honestly don't know. I do believe that having sex with someone changes your relationship. It may be a good change or a not so good change, but it will change.

+1 yNah, two people who can't for one reason or another be in good, successful relationships, using each other for sex can't be that healthy.. Especially since it usually comes from a place of some sort of quiet desperation...
00 Reply I wish they could, but I believe one of the two will either catch feelings or already has them and is hoping that by sleeping with each other they will end them up in a relationship.
00 ReplyI do not think so. Your being intimidate like a married couple. But trying to hold back. In reality I think marriage should equal friends with benefits. You should be friends with the person you are married too.

@KrakenAttackin nope. Men certainly sleep around more then women. What are they called a Dusty Krusty's...🤣😅 Kraken just admit your a misogynist?
- +1 y
@katebfun. Wrong, only about 4% of. men "sleep around". Women get far, far,. more sex than the average man.
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin my theory is 80% of women date/sleep with the top 20% of men. So simply put in the effort to become the top 20% of men.
Also women don't get a "pass" if she is ugly or fat but rich and funny most men will not date her. If a MAN was balding, rich and funny he would have a line of women 😅🤣 - +1 y
@Inbox Also, women lie horribly about their body counts, so I am willing to bet you can multiply that 7-9 by a 2 or 3.
