This (now 20m) guy and I (19f) met on bumble last year (lets call him A) and he was one of the first guys i dated. Personally I was swooning on him and he was everything I wanted. He went to uni in another city and we had a week long fling but kept in touch later to. He took me on dates and paid and everything and lowkey treated me far better than most guys I've been with till now (lowkey including my ex) but eventually we cut it off cause he didn't want a relationship and i didn't know it even tho he hinted (rookie issues). It was lowkey a heartbreak. Fast forward a few months, had a met someone in feb and had relationship and broke up in July (mans cheated) and now im back on dating apps (nov) and for fun i swiped on A cause i seen him on there and he matched back. He didn't respond yet but why am i so excited. I don't know why he matched back cause when i confessed my feelings to get it off my chest i got denied. Ngl I don't know if i feel for him but im in for the funsies at this point. I might be a little desperate? I don't know? but i had a genuine connection with him soooo. I don't know what am i doing and yeah. someone pls advice. im so tempted to talk to him (this is so weird)
Seems like he isn’t interested. Plenty of other guys out there.

It's natural to feel a mix of emotions when reconnecting with someone from your past. Take a moment to reflect on what you truly want from this interaction. If you're open to it, reaching out and casually catching up could be a way to see where things stand now. Just be mindful of your own feelings and expectations, and remember it's okay to prioritize your well-being in any situation.
The chances are he doesn't know what he is doing either. You need to talk to him some more.

It seems you were attracted originally and still are. It is not as if you are unacquainted - you could reach out on a 'how are you' basis.
I understand how you feel. Like you have a special connection. It's okay to reach out.
