Is it clingy to want to talk / text my boyfriend every day?

Sometimes he won’t text me back or we won’t talk for a day and it upsets me but he always has an excuse for why. Am I being clingy?

How long have you guys been dating?

In my last relationship before I broke up, I felt that anxiety too. Like I would be the last one to text, and we wouldn't talk for two days. And that happened twice before the third date. Funny thing is that she brought that up on the 3rd date on why weren't talking everyday.. Yet I had to explain to her that it was okay if we didn't--despite the fact that I was the one reaching out to her or having the last text. >_>

So in my opinion, if you guys are fairly new, It's fine to not talk every day. Sometimes people need a break or are genuinely really busy. Also, you have more things to talk to and have a sense of mystery too, the next time you talk.

Whatever you do, don't freak out over it. If he's reading you on read for days, then I would be concerned. But this is something you guys can talk about in person/over the phone about how often you guys want to communicate. Don't let this break your relationship.

Nope.. it's normal and essential to talk everyday with your SO/Partner in some form through texting or calls...

My girlfriend was the same way, but we picked a day each week not to talk, unless it was a special date.
