Would you not trust a doctor with your life simply because they asked for your trust? Like come on. I feel like there are more important things involved in trusting than just what people say.

For instance, I'm extremely trustworthy when it comes to confidentiality. And I'd say "you can trust me" to whoever I believe can trust me. And they would be able to.

I wouldn't expect someone to trust me based on words. I'd just wanty words to mirror my actions. Actions matter more ofc.

No if a person asks me to trust them it´s suspicious to me since the only people that say need to say it to compensate the lack of people trusting them. It´s a way of convincing someone in a way he wouldn´t have gone on his their own decision.
