So I been talking to this girl since may and we only hung out 2 times because I have had some health problems, but she said she really likes me. Well a few weeks back she said she wasn’t talking to anyone but me but then I checked her fb dating and saw she updated her pictures and bio and she just said it’s random. Well now she’s kinda changing her tune she says she just wants to focus on her job and losing weight and now just keeps calling me her friend but she said she just wants to take things as they come and build a foundation I don't know what to think

I'm gonna be real with you - it's starting to sound like she's putting you in the friend zone. A few things make me think that:

- Her updating her FB dating profile shows she's still looking around, even if she says she's not talking to anyone else.

- Now she's focused more on herself - her job, goals, health - rather than you two hanging out more.

- Calling you "friend" is a red flag. She's distancing herself with that language.

At the same time, I wouldn't completely write her off yet if you really care about her. But I'd definitely start pulling back your effort and focus on yourself more too.

Keep it casual when you talk - don't come across too needy. Let her pursue you for once. If she likes you, she'll start making more of an effort.
