I was on the phone with my friend. I was basically telling her how I had been looking at videos pertaining to the mindset of a man. I had told her the more I look at it the more it made me not want to date. She was so happy when I had made that statement and it bothered me. Why would you rejoice over something that I am clearly unhappy about. So then I had proceeded to ask her so if you were still single would you be happy? All she could say was I was single for a minute. I had asked her how long is a minute? She said 2 months. For me it’s been 7 years. After asked her that question, she proceeded to make up an excuse to get them off of the phone. So what do you think?

truly, could be anything. maybe she secretly likes you. maybe she envies you. maybe your sadness makes her happier. maybe she's happy because that means you'll get to spend more time with her. or maybe you being single makes her feel better about her own life.

You are overthinking here. You judging her over conversations that you had on phone. Don't you know her enough?
