I am 25 years old. I'm dating an 18 year old girl. When she turns 19, I will date another 18-year-old girl. Do you think what I did is right?
I don't know man, dating barely legal teens when you're 25 seems a little weird to me. Here's a few things to consider:
- The age gap is pretty big at your ages. An 18 year old is just starting their life after high school, you're quite a bit further along. You're in different stages of life.
- It can come across as you going for young, impressionable girls who are easier to influence or control. Even if that's not your intention, others may see it that way.
- Legally it may be okay, but emotionally/mentally there could be an imbalance of power in the relationship since you have more life experience.
- What do you have in common with an 18 year old? What do you talk about? Are you on the same wavelength or is it just physical attraction?
- When she turns 19, will another 18 year old really be as mature and ready for the same serious relationship you want?
I'd probably look for someone closer to your own age who you connect with better. Dating teenagers when you're well into your 20s just seems like there could be underlying issues or you're not willing to date someone your own maturity level. But hey man do what feels right, just be aware of how others might see it.

That’s just plain silly. Why break up with a girlfriend simply because she turns 19? You can’t be serious.
