Both people nowadays will probably go through another five more relationships before they settle down

You don't need permission to do it if you are happy if he's happy if you have the same goals if you can help each other succeed and all your goals I don't see why not but like I said I'm pretty sure that you each have probably five more relationships before you find the one maybe maybe not but I would say do what you want to do it's nobody else's business especially if you really like each other and will be there for each other
