when i was first liked boys i thought no boy would ever be attracted to me. then i got a deluge of every male human from my age to over age 60 and it has never stopped 🤷‍♀️ and one day it will.

and guys wonder why i don't have time for them, i don't get back to them, i'm not interested in dating them, i'm not interested in being friends with them, and on and on. i'm happy with the friends i have, and i'm happy with my boyfriend, and that's fine for now

People are not attracted to me. But one woman at work seemed to have an interest in me. Got my hopes up for about 7 years and then in 2021 it all came crashing down.

I worked as a counsellor at a mental hospital. There was a nurse who was about 10 years older than me. I thought she was very attractive and she seemed to be a very nice lady. We worked 3 pm - 11 pm, and went out to a nearby lounge for a drink after work. All of the other co-workers left and I walked her to her car. She started kissing me and asking me to take her back to my apartment for sex.

I was very flattered, but. . . I also knew that she was married and I even knew her husband. I liked and respected him, too. And I had a very firm rule about not getting involved with married women, so I told her to go home and work on her marriage.

She didn't come home with me that night or any other night, and we never again spoke about the kiss that we shared. She and her husband are still together.

A few years ago I was contacted out of the blue by someone looking for career advice. She said she was a former model and was doing the weather on TV and was changing careers. The IG account she said was hers had almost a million followers. I didn't think she was real but I gave her a name and number of someone I knew was hiring for the position she was looking for. Turns out it she got the interview by using my name and got the job. Then she asked me out but I declined because she was younger than my kids.
