Who would you prefer your boss be?

I have experienced good and bad from both.

Bad:

If the Male supervisor likes one of the female employees he will treat others unfairly to cater to her.

If the female supervisor is unattractive and you are a highly attractive man she may treat you unfairly because she is mad that she could never get a mate of that quality.

Good:

A Male supervisor that already has a mate and has some common interest as the employee often treats them fairly.

A female supervisor that is attractive and not angry about her options treats employees fairly too.

Those have been my experiences.

Both can be good or bad, but I've had fewer male bosses who encourage a work place with backstabbing and passive aggressive behavior. They certainly exist, but generally they just care about performance and punctuality. If that's all a female boss sees as well then I could care less.

It doesn't matter for me. I work for 2 jobs and I have both male and female boss and it really depends on the person not on gender

I won't tolerate to be bossed. Anyhow - whenever I had a female superior, they tended to either quit, or to sob at some stage. They weren't man enough, I guess :)
