Can I still work as a model before healing from my injury?

I hate being still at home and not having to go to work or do something.

Today, I was messaged by one of my previous agents, who got me a part-time job last time.
Last time I did modeling, that was 4 years ago, as a fitness model.

She also gave me the contact card of her model agency friend recently, she doesn’t know I have a broken leg, I’d stipl want to model though, if they agree, I am fine with having my leg broken,

But they probably want me to have some classy or fitness shootings. I hate to turn this opportunity down, I wonder should I negotiate and offer them to take me in shootings to advertise crutches or something like this instead, because that’s what I can advertise in my condition right now? Or better wait to recover? 🤣

My body type is different from Chinese so they are quite attracted to me to represent their brands.

I can’t do fitness modeling now, what about classy modeling? But I think I can’t do that either. I can’t just stand on one leg…

It's your body is all you got to exist here in , it breaks down on you then what, you must take care of t what takes care of you, if you're not fully healthy then take the time to do so, don't rush things what you were doing will always be there and never allow yourself to feel or be pressured to do anything that your not ready for, you go out there and injure yourself who do you think will be there take care of you, heal fully that way you can perform at 100 percent not less, your body will thank you, you must understand this, the human body is the most complex yet perfect thing ever created, but it's only as good as how we take care of it, think of your body as a vehicle, a car, it needs gas oil and other fluid to run you never take care of it just drive it every ignoring the signs that it needs service for too long and it breaks down useless so you get a new one, you can't get a new body at least not yet, never take your health for granted our bodies are designed to last well over 130 years if properly cared for, I'm going on about this to hopefully let you realize how important our bodies are and as with anything to run smoothly it must be well maintained, ok

Why not? Let them know your work restrictions and see what they say. I don’t know about laws in China, but I do know the US companies are required to make reasonable accommodations for any job if they employ >= 15 employees and there is a legitimate business need for the employee. What constitutes as “reasonable” is debatable as it can’t bankrupt a company.

If they come back with anything, might want to run it by your doctor for good measure. I wouldn’t risk compromising your recovery routine for a job.

If they don’t have anything for you at the moment or you’d rather focus on healing as quickly as possible, then you can stay the course-maybe watch a movie with your living assistant and wear your inserts as yamakas while doing so as you eat one of her home cooked meals.

There's enough amputees and permanently disabled models out there. There's no reason - especially if you did it before - that you shouldn't be able to get a few gigs during your convalescence. With pins and plates externally you may find you get offered work quickly while the PC brigade looks to maximise their use of "disabled" people.

And don't turn down medical devices. Those guys pay very well for the right look.

I don’t have any pins and plates externally. My plate is installed inside my leg. My leg looks the same way it always did, just with very little cuts on my shin and ankle. They have already healed and soon they’ll disappear.

You're welcome, you see any girl who looks well enough can model, no one cares about this especially these days, they have nothing to offer except their bodies...

What makes you special is something that might be unique or rare such as an influential writer, because you can express yourself in it, make the people who reads your stories live the scenarios that you implement in their heads, also you don't have to be fit or go outside the house to do it, you can write anywhere, any place and at anytime...

Can't you please take a rest. It's your legs. You are stressing yourself over nothing. As a person, remember you could end up in greater problems from post injury complications. So, please please please take care to heal properly:).

You are trying to be a productive person but right now you need some mental relaxation more than physical healing since apparently you have been though a lot. Whether you like to accept it or not.

I would think the photographer would have to be very aware of the situation. And it might not hurt to have someone you trust around. Not only to keep you safe but help out a bit.
