Like I try and never get matches until I get frustrated and just delete the app
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI won’t lie, your looks and even the quality of your pics can contribute to lack of matches. I also think timing and location can play a hand, like if you’re in a small town or rural area, there also may not be many women in the app right now where you live.

+1 yNo, not necessarily for either of those.
It depends on the person. For some, it's the fact they're not generally considered physically attractive by other people. For others, it means their pictures are bad, and for some others, it may be a combination of both.
Or, it might not have anything to do with their pictures at all, and everything to do with their other profile information (or lack thereof).
I understand your frustation, as I don't get many matches myself, but it seems hard to believe you never get matches.
Are you not swiping "right" enough? Is your profile empty? Do you have grossly offensive things on your profile?

I could not get matches on tinder to save my life. However in real life I had women throwing themselves at me constantly.
I've had women tell me I'm cute in front of their boyfriend.
If I go to the club, girls will walk up to me and just start shaking their ass. Not always. Not always lol. Sometimes I can go to the club and nothing happens.
But all that female attention and I could only match with hideous monstrosities. The ones who pop up and you swipe left so fast you didn't know you could move so quick.
There are some people in this world who are so hideous it's unimaginable.01 Reply- +1 y
That's nice to know.
Where I live, people don't meet in person anymore.
I knew it would be a guy asking. It can mean both. But, even attractive guys don't get many matches unless they look like models. I've seen the inboxes of a lot of guys, and they are mostly deserts. What does your profile say in the description? What do your pics look like?

+1 yI’m not on any of that stuff, but when I see these things about the kind of pictures to use…. who is taking these fancy looking pictures that look like they’re from some clothing catalogue? Am I supposed to call up the boys and be like “yo, fellas! Can you meet me out at the Christmas tree farm? Give me an hour so I can swing by the LL Bean Outlet store for an outfit, and I need Scottie to bring the 35 mm camera, and DC, I need you to find me a Siberian Husky puppy to snuggle with in a snowbank. Let’s shoot for 3:30 so we can get all set up and we won’t miss the Golden Hour, get my lighting PERFECT.” I refuse to believe dudes do this kinda shit, lmao. I guess I don’t do Instagram, so maybe I’m underestimating how committed Gen Z is to amateur photo shoots, lmao. But these ladies can’t possibly expect dudes to be having professional looking photos, rein in your expectations😂 Honestly, I can’t even imagine this scenario, lmao

+1 yHonestly, even men in my parts and in their late teens know that it's best to keep out of Tinder. It's basically a male depression generator app. If You're not a model, You're going to have a few matches at best, and You won't be the first choice, anyway. If You want matches on Tinder, use some photos of the most good-looking of Your friends, or even sign an agreement with an actual model to use His photos on Tinder. Not that You have a high probability or finding anyone worth the time and effort, anyway.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yTinder is a sess pool. It’s full of the following now:
- Women pushing OF bullshit
- Bizarre (and often ugly) far leftist women and I am not saying they just say they are “liberal” in their profile. They literally use their profiles as “sounding boards” for their politics
- Women seeking out sugar daddies. They are all young either. A grown ass (and only so so looking) 30 year old woman thought she could pull that shit on me.
But anyway bro just to be honest you can take better pictures than that.
You are not exactly a male model but you are not hideous either. But you can do a better job giving off a positive vibe. Try to do something with you an activity or something. And use a different dating app.

+1 yunattractive. I catfished my cousin once to compare our matches on two different accounts. No bios just pics. Right swipe every acc. His profile matched with half a dozen or so in a few hrs and they reached out to him first. Mine got 0 matches. So Tinder is all looks and hookups. Confidence is a lie and bios too. Confidence pertains to attracting opposite sex and knowing you can. Thats why good looking people seem confident and happy. Average or ugly seem unsure or insecure because theyre not desirable and they and world know it. My suggestion as a 29yr old virgin w\ no romantic exp is focus on career, you have porn for sex and repentance before death to end your life sinless

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yno it means you don't fall in the top 10 percent of men who are racking up in-sane numbers on those sites. Basically dating apps have devolved into a hub for average women to go slumming around with the upper echelon of men who get the opportunity to sleep with as many women from as many different backgrounds on any given night. Maybe some of them will hit the lottery and land that beautiful rich guy of their dreams but most by FAR will just get screwed constantly until they're used up and no good for any average man. I don't use dating apps and would advice any average guy to avoid using them unless they want to find damaged goods.

+1 yGirls on tinder overestimate themselves...2/10 , fat 95kg monster with moustache is getting 500 matches and 200dm's every month, so she think , that she is super sexy and can have top 1% of the mens.. you need to be way above avarage to interest way under avarage girl.. it's way eazier to find girl in real life

+1 yNot necessarily.. There's more women on there than men.. And the algorithm messes guys up.. Even if you're a nice looking guy all around, you'll still struggle to get matches, or not get high quality matches.. I say, just go out and meet people.. Cold approach.. If you can..
02 Reply- +1 y
cold approaching does not work. i get called a creep just for showing up.
fucking delusional. Everybody should stop dating and fucking and just let the fucking human species die out - +1 y
@trellbrown84 Damn, that's too bad.. But it's better than Dating apps a lot of times..
I don't think that'll happen anytime soon.. LOL..
2.9K opinions shared on Dating topic. I'm not some kind of tech guru but there's a way to "cheat the algorithm". Depending on the way you interact with the app, you will be limited in your choices of women; and the app will not show your profile to certain women and not show you to them. I'm not exactly sure how all that works
00 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. I would say the later because most dating apps are made with a male than female profiles. So you´ll be in a rivalry with all men on the app and it´s fight that´s hard to fight. Don´t take it personal most guys get few matches.

+1 yA lot of girls and guys have told me I'm attractive, but I maybe get like 10 girls in my inbox that never message over a few months. Dating apps cater more for women than men. Don't let it get to you. It's a women's dating world right now.
00 Reply 892 opinions shared on Dating topic. If these pictures are actual pictures of you then I'd have to say you are very attractive. Of course I go for the tall/medium sized, dark (Italian look).
👍00 ReplyUse a description bio and add what you are looking for, what you like- about yourself to strike interest. Also pictures help a lot too.
