I've never used Tinder but I have used dating apps. And no, I don't think you can use the as a Guage. I started not getting any messages at all for the first two weeks. To be fair I never posted any pics at all to begin with. But even when I did I only posted selfies. Because I'm not a Pic saver so I didn't have ANY real pics to speak of. But when I would do things with my friends or family over time I would start snapping pics. I haven't been actively using a a dating app recently. But by the time I'd got to where I last used it I was getting about 2 to 5 a day.

What I'm saying is you have to think the story your pics tell. No pics can say "I'm cheating on my wife so I won't post pics". All selfies can say "I'm a boring shut-in. Possibly a serial killer.😆 But a good Pic game that shows you in a variety of situations family, friends, can say "I'm an interesting well rounded individual worth meeting".
