You probably like the taste of ice cream, but you probably don't eat it 3 meals a day (or even 1 meal a day) because you know that would be horribly unhealthy for you. That doesn't mean you don't like the taste, or that you don't sometimes get cravings for it, but you probably don't just indulge those cravings whenever you feel like it.

Many women see "bad boys" much like ice cream, and they WANT IT. And even though they know that it's bad for them, they WANT IT, and prefer to believe that the negative consequences will never come for them. Hell, many delude themselves into believing she can "fix" him. This is why some women will even go back to felons who beat them.

Much as many men seek endless casual sex with different partners (because they won't put their own desires in check), many women seek out bad men because they're exciting, confident, and perhaps good in bed - even though in every other way, he's a disaster. Those men may hit her, cheat on her, steal from her, abuse her kids, and destroy her self-esteem - but she can't see herself with a "boring" guy (i. e., a good guy who lives a normal life) because that's BORING to her. This type of girl usually comes from a chaotic household, and has lived nothing but drama and chaos and conflict (and often abuse) her whole life, and even if she may look pretty and sweet, the rot in her soul can't be fixed.

If you had a guy friend who banged 5 new girls every week (and didn't have much problem doing so), could you talk that guy out of banging random girls and just committing to one for the rest of his life? I highly doubt it, because that kind of guy is NEVER going to be a commitment guy. It's no different with a "bad boy" girl - she's never going to appreciate a "good guy" and you can't fix her.

It all boils down to interest and what interests them is drama and shit happening, basically non-boredom in their eyes. We sometimes don't understand this because they will tell us they want a nice guy, that is calm and very agreeable, that is easy to take advantage of because he's generous.

Think about this... they will defend a SIMP when it comes to their own income or the income of another woman (because team women), but they don't get wet for him. I think some women get off on being mistreated. There is a thing where women are attracted to dangerous men or abusers or have low self-esteem and feel that they don't deserve to be treated well and must be mistreated in order to feel comfortable in their relationship. It is messed up. Sometimes, women are attracted to men who mirror their father who just happens to be worst dad of the year.

Because their attraction and their security are separate scales. Ideally they want a man who is the most attractive (masculine) and safe (provider). But since Prince Charming doesn’t exist and most women are independent, they’ll settle for the bad boy (masculine) who ends up not sticking around because he has a ton of options to choose from and his own flaws.
