Do women in their 20s not want to date a guy who's too much older such as 29 or 30?

E. g. I've been single all my life to now and as I'm nearing 30, I just wonder if it's very unlikely women in their 20s whether earlier 20s mid 20s want to date a guy who's more than just 1 year older than them. Thoughts? I guess I'm just very to the party / the ship has almost sailed without me lol before hitting 30.

30 is your prime age on the condition you spent your 20's well getting established. Women date older because they want a more mature guy who got himself together so your early 30's you can attract mid to late 20s as well as women in their 30s provided that you did the work.

If you didn't spend your 20s wisely and you didn't develop yourself they are going to fault you for not being ready and go for someone who is because being developed is your primary asset.

I do want to add that if you didn't develop yourself its not game over, but its definatrly time to. work on it. Things like social skills, stable career, a place to life or if its impossible in your area like it is in mine at least the ability to provide and get a place to life once the market normalizes.

Not really surr what you are on about there but the general gist women don't date older is wrong. Women date older but often not much younger, men date younger. So for women 30 is a big deal but for men its the age womrn begin to stop making negative assumptions by the age group.

I debated if I should tell you but you need the feedback so I will. You had a bunch of messages I think will be really offputting because the way you express your humor comes across wrong at least to me. And 100% don't take that as me trying to offend you because thats not at all what I intend so sorry if this hits rough.

But so far I see you are going all in on being playful, having a playful attitude is fun but the way you go about it is going to scare girls away. For example the joke you made towards LazerBean. You instantly went all out on the emphesising its a joke part explaining its mischevious and lighthearted. The fact you had to do that wirh her but not with the vacant land joke shows you have it in you to judge when a joke is appropriate or not. In her case it was an offensive joke towards a girl you probably didn't interact with much before. If thats a date there is a high chance she will view you as incredibly offputting because you joked at her expense with a negative steriotype.

Meanwhile you had the vacant land joke with me, that one was the right kind of playful. You took something I said and applied it to a different context where the word is common which I found amusing.

But then telling something you honestly think which you know can be an offputting opinion and then masking it with a random wink doesn't work. Either stand behind your opinion or don't say it, the wink came across creepy to me and if I was a girl i'd probably have called it quits.

So again the reason I am telling you this is not to be mean, but to show you that if you do this on a dating app you may be ruining your own chances. When I said developed guy that also heavily implies social skills, and joking in the wrong way is going to do more harm than good. So either practise it or tone it down especially in the early stages when you meet a girl.
