I keep having a dream that a guy I like his being violent with me. Like screaming and putting his finger in my face and calling me a bitch. I’m confused why I keep having this dream. Why do I keep dreaming about this?
Dreams aren't premonitions. They're your mind trying to work through things you think and have experienced. They don't come from an outside source that knows more than you do.
You may have trust issues. (Either warranted or unwarranted.) Maybe you've experienced this, or watched someone experience this, and your mind remembers from the past, or looked for a place to store the new memory, and because you're thinking about this guy you like, he's in your life now, your mind put them together as one, which was really just a coincidence, assigning this to him.
Maybe you have generalized anxiety. Which causes you to be in a heightened state of readiness and fear. It's the mind's way of trying to protect the person from danger. (The mind thinks it's better to be safe than sorry. This is what keeps you alive.) But the problem is that the brain can learn anything, good or bad, useful or destructive, and it may be overactive, firing more than it should. And, in this case, you fear or don't trust men, even though they've never harmed you.
And one more note - he was aggressive, angry, but he wasn't violent, actually, right? Make sure you differentiate between anger and actual violence. I'm just confirming this isn't leaning into 'silence is violence' territory, which is probably not a great use of the term.
Women dream negative things about their partners. I've heard many instances of them waking up and being mad at their partners. The guy's like, "But I didn't do anything!" lol. I've had them, and never tell the guy. No point.

Dreams are a result of your subconscious mind. Perhaps it sensed something which you in your conscious state didn't. Keep patient though. It's dumb to act just on the basis of a dream. But keep aware.
