I started dating a guy (38) about 1.5 months ago. He’s a really kind and funny person. However, he does certain things that make me think he may have a learning disability or something. I can provide a few examples… one day he came over to my apartment and asked me to buzz him in, before I could buzz him in a neighbor was coming out of the building which I seen on camera. Instead of him walking in he just stood there and called me again to buzz him in.
two weeks ago he told me he wanted to go to Miami for his bday and he wanted me to go with him. a week later we’re talking and he goes I booked my ticket. I asked why didn’t he inform me so we could’ve booked it together…no answer. I then ask for him to send me the flight information so I can try to book on the same flight. The guy sends a screen shot and the destination says….. West Palm Beach, FL. 😂. I asked if he intentionally changed the location… blank stare!!!
Another time he ordered an item for pick up at Urban Outfitters. He asked for me to go with him… I did! We get to the location and the sales associate is adamant that they’re unable to locate his order. Why on God’s green earth did he go to the wrong location? Lol.
A few days ago it snowed in NYC… this guy traveled 45 mins on the Subway to a dollar tree to return an ice cream because it was missing the seal. Which is just plain ludicrous!! There’s a dollar tree 10 mins from his apartment…. He could’ve just got refunded.
I asked him if he had a learning disability or something before and he denied it. But, some of his behaviors are questionable. Yesterday, was my final straw. I asked him what time we’re we meeting today and he responds by saying that “someone posted aliens on the internet” I’m like huh? Lol. I responded back that I think were better off as friends because I don’t see us lasting long term. He never responded. I guess his feelings are hurt. But, I just don’t understand his thought process and certain behaviors. Am I wrong?
