Should I quit before it’s too late?

I’m not asking what exactly to do here but I just want a little advice. So I’ve had this retail job for a little over the past two years while I’m finishing college. It’s definitely been fun at times but it’s extremely fast paced when there’s sales and I find it to be mentally draining lately.
This past month I’ve been on the hunt for new jobs for the summer. I graduate in December so won’t be able to get a real job until then. I found a job that I’m not 100% satisfied with but I’m already hired and about to go into training next week.
So the thing about the retail job that I’m currently at, the biggest sale of the year is about to happen and I already know that it’ll leave me feeling exhausted after dealing with an over flux of customers because I’ve worked this sale 4 times already. I would like to quit 2 weeks before, which would be today and leave my last day the day before the sale starts.
My dad doesn’t want me to quit this job until I find a solid new job but I technically have a job now and I can’t take the pressures of this retail job anymore and don’t want to be caught up in the craziness of the sale and quit during it. Worst case scenario I don’t work for one week or so but my sister just came home from college and is relaxing and he’s not forcing her to get a job until after our vacation next week.
Advice?
