The girl I’ve been seeing and I are exclusive, but we haven’t had sex yet. We make out, she’s let me feel her up over her clothes, but it was pretty obvious from her body language that she didn’t want to go further when she was at my place (I invited her over and cooked for her). We’ve been on 6 dates. This what I’m hoping to be my first serious relationship, so I don’t want to rush and push her away.

About 5 or 6 weeks after we first met. I don't remember the exact date but, we met at a bar where I just played a gig and we talked for an hour or two. A week or two later, we bumped into each other on the street and talked another couple hours there, then she invited to her place to continue the talk and get pizza. A few days later, we got together to repeat/continue that talk. A few days later, we did it again. Another few days later, my band was playing about a mile away from her place so, I went over and walked to the venue. She loved the band! A few days later, I went back to her place, possibly to continue talking records and we ended up making out pretty hot & heavy except that I had to feel her up over her clothes. After another one or two of those sessions, we started fucking and because a steady couple.
I met her in mid Aug. and we were fucking and a steady couple by late Sept..

6 dates is hardly exclusive. But if you’ve decided you want to date seriously then give her time. What’s the rush? It’s got to be the right time for both of you. If she feels forced or hurried she isn’t going to enjoy it.
