Is it weird that my girlfriend was okay with me dancing with another woman?

We were at a friend's wedding and the maid of honor asked me to dance with her during the reception, I gave a quick glance at my girlfriend and she nodded her head in approval.

Dancing, especially at weddings are in my experience a mix and match so to say. Its a dance, its a fun activity nothing serious. So no not weird especially as you asked for approval.
I mean there are songs and situations you only want to dance with your partner but if such a song comes up just stop and change dance partners. At least from my experience.

That's the joke , Nancy boy actions Bb , everybody dances with everybody at weddings and its not for you ( or her ) to request approval to dance with the maid of honour , the bride or whoever.
