Why does someone ignore your messages but continue to follow you on social media & like what you post?

Ignoring someone is rude. Unless someone asks you to stop messaging them and you don’t. It just means they are too cowardly to say what they need to say.


I mean someone not responding in five minutes is one thing. But if they don’t respond for days or weeks or never and they seem the messages. Especially if it’s important. They aren’t worth your time

Absolutely I agree with everything you said. If the message indeed wasn't important or I asked if I can text them and they still ignore does this still apply?

Yeah. If they ignore you flat out then it’s rude. If you’re asking someone and they never respond. They don’t value you at all

Yes. But it depends on exaclty what’s said. A conversation has to eventually end somewhere.

It wasn't really a conversation. I asked two questions, they answered the first but ignored the second one. The question definitely required an answer, it wasn't a rhetorical question.

Yeah ignoring a question after days is rude. Especially if you know hee seen the message. If he doesn’t know the answer he could say so

Or he could just say no. First I asked him if he had the same phone number and he said yes. Then I asked if it's okay if I text you and that is the question he ignored. I understand the answer was most likely no but he could have said that.

Yeah he could have said no. People like that are too cowardly to just say something. Just move on
