It mainly comes down to personality , because I have never considered myself skinny in the least , I have always been a broader guy with some chubbiness when I was younger I was insecure about my size , until girls’ started flirting with me and hitting on me , it kind of boosted my confidence more to not be so shy around beautiful girls’ , even though at times I would think what does this beautiful girl see in me , that I am not seeing lol Until I realized it was my personality that pretty much got me lucky with the girls’, I would think why does this girl like me or want to be with me over some fit muscular good looking guy? Even though I don’t consider myself ugly , but I don’t consider myself hot either, I just treat people the same way I want to be treated in return , I am pretty much, not much of a shy guy anymore , I haven’t been for quite a long time , by breaking that shyness pretty much has increased my chances of getting a girl to like me. Now don't get me wrong , I don’t get every girl I flirt with, but my chances have increased , compared to how it was before. Most girls’ like a guy that is outgoing and not shy , that can make her laugh and keep a smile on her face , A guy that isn’t cocky that thinks his shit doesn’t stink , she likes a guy that is nice , but has a little bit of a bad boy side , Girls’ mainly like guys’ that really don’t take her shit , that aren’t insecure and speak the truth , that are honest with her , she wants to be the one chasing him , not the other way around , unless she is a dominate type then that’s a different story lol , But all in all a girl likes a guy that has a genuine heart , that will protect her and keep her in line if she gets’ out of hand , if you treat a girl that way , she more than likely will be waiting for you at your doorstep ready to jump your bones.

I have a friend who is rather fat but still solid and strong. He's a surfer and kind of built like this and always sporting a deep tan:

He possesses tremendous charisma though. He can show up at a bar and plop himself down next to a woman and have her laughing almost immediately. There's a kind of magnetic charm to him where guys want to be his friend and girls find him very charming.

He's also not rich in case anyone is wondering. He actually lives on a shack at a beach which doesn't even have a functioning toilet and just lives to surf. He scrapes together a living as a tattoo artist and graphic designer picking up odd jobs here and there and then usually stops working until he runs out of money and then repeats.

Yet he always has a very pretty date. So I often use him as an example that even an overweight man with barely any money can still have a lot of game if he has really great social skills and charisma.

Studies show that almost 50% of people are now overweight, with a high percentage being obese. Size should not matter that much, since there are many others of a similar size, both men and women.

As others have said, personality is what is really important.

It’s difficult for a lot of men to find a date. Not just fat men in general. I think it’s over 60% of men are single. I think women have it easier when it comes to options. They may not think so because a majority of them want that same top % of men. But if they lowered their standards, maybe went for a dude who wasn’t 6ft or taller, wasn’t making six figures or handsome they’d have a lot to pick from. But they won’t. Even a girl who is on much lower level looks wise would still have options. Someone w could still smash her. But men, who are fat, overweight, etc, pretty much all women won’t have anything to do w them.

the total opposite of fat women obviously. fat women at least have some advantages in dating. they usually have bigger tits and ass than skinny women do and men have this psychology that they are easier. unless we are talking about being morbidly obese

I recently went out with a fat man twice. He was in poor health. He could barely walk and you could hear him breathing hard and he chewed tobacco. Still, thats not even why I didn't like him. He was incredibly rude, made me feel uncomfortable, was unhygienic and showed no interest in me. He grossed me out but I was still willing to see him again. I dont date for looks. The issue was everything else.

Looks wise, It can more difficult for overweight men to find dates vs in-shape men.

Guys, if a woman doesn’t find you attractive, that’s okay because another one will. Don’t count yourself out.

I've been obese most of my adult life. I didn't join the dating pool till i was 35, but TBH after that using online dating I wouldn't say it was terribly hard, but younl have to put in the work. It's a numbers game, just keep going and you'll get somewhere.

Probably rough for women are very critical of that but every gal is different. I've seen plenty of obese men with women. I've had some pretty rotten comments made to me by women teens to early twenties for being thin. After the Army it changed because I was more fit but still a trim build.
