Guys, If single, Have you given up on dating, do you see the point pursuing women these days?

I´m single and I haven´t given on dating. I think finding a relationship is still possible I just don´t make it my main goal in a way that I don´t want to be seen as desperate while looking for a relationship.
I would say it´s still possible to have a decent relationship it just needs more time and effort, since there is much piss in the dating pool both men and women alike need to invest more and take more time building a relationship. Saying more needs to be invested I´m not saying that one needs to invest much money but I´m investing so that the person believes you and trusts what you say. There are quite a few guys that like to talk about having a relationship while they are looking just for sex. So that leads me to the understanding that I have to invest more in getting a relationship because I have to show her that I really want more. Talk is cheap many people lie and therefore it´s harder these days to find a relationship.

I have a lot of issues that need to be addressed, and dating is something that I need to add to my plate right now.

I need to be happy/content with myself before I can make someone else happy or content from a dating perspective.

I've given up on pursuing women completely, its too big of a gamble. Of course, if the right one shows out, and we click, then I'm more than happy to date. However, I'm not looking for one, nor trying to get one at the moment.

I haven't given up per se. I'm just not trying to date. I really don't see any point in trying to date women who see no value in me beyond what I can GIVE them. If that's all a guy wanted then he would just adopt a child.

If I ever meet a woman that values me for me that may change. But I'm not holding my breathe. And I'm not wasting my precious time chasing fruitless endeavors. I'm happy enough single.🙂👍

I've pursued enough where I just don't think I'm going to get a yes. In addition, my health issues are a problem. I'd rather not have someone deal with going on a date with someone and they have a seizure.
