372 opinions shared on Dating topic. Yeah I would.
wouldn’t be any judgement. 100% trust. If they thought like me and not exactly as me then it’d kind of work but actually it would work the same way because I’d hear my thoughts relayed back to me so I’d get new thoughts and vice versa.
I’d be motivated. I’d be able to chill out. And the only thing that would be ideal is he came from wealthy parents or he knew how to work hard/have discipline and he’d be willing to do most jobs that I wouldn’t like. Because all in all I need an exact version of me who will support me like no one else would lol
I can vibe with him but the support needs to be there because my family didn’t come from wealth so he’d need the advantage and advanced pace on society.
This of course would all apply if I had never married and didn’t meet my boo. It’s 50/50 and if I met my boo I’d take that route but otherwise I’d choose no one else and only myself. In my case I neverrrrrrr saw the level of reciprocity and respect that I wanted and deserved. Myself as the opposite sex would definitely be able to fulfill that. It wouldn’t be ME though because I’d never want a penis as mine and I wouldn’t want a pussy to work with either.

"Probably not.
Although I do genuinely believe I am capable of loving correctly, I've come to understand that I am usually too much too soon and I haven't found a way to calm that down. So I as much as I hate to know that I probably wouldn't even want to date myself, that's probably the reality."
Which is true, but I have come to realise something. Aside from that, I have also been to be one of the most supportive, open-minded and optimistic people others have met and I would love that in a partner.
There's a guy that I really care about. He's an absolute idiot of a person, completely out of his mind, but hilariously so. He's a delight to be with, even if I cannot and do not always understand him. He's genuinely one of the most unique and authentic people I know and I love him for it. Its exactly the type of person I am. Somewhat insecure, and still never afraid to hide his true, genuine, weird self.
I guess it comes down to what male-me would value most.
My friend recently told me she feels safe and understood with me, because I never judge her decisions, and just let her talk so she can figure things out for herself and I just listen to her. Sometimes I give my opinion if she wants me to, and sometimes I just let her speak her mind so she doesn't have to carry those things alone.
So you know what. I would.
I would date myself, including the over the top kind of loving; the unconventional and uninhibited weirdness that defines who I am; the absolute mindless humor I see in everything; the patience, the irritations, the unhealed trauma responses I'm still working on and the seemingly incomprehensible sadness that I have to deal with every once in a while. At the end of the day, I still fall asleep knowing I tried my best.
I'd go above and beyond for the person I love. No questions asked.
Like hell, I would date me.
End of this speech. Thank you.

+1 yHonestly the criteria for good chemistry is to have a lot of similarities. Similar interests, views, sense of humor, way of thinking, style of communicating, goals in life, sexual compatibility, etc. That way you can go to the same places and enjoy experiences you know you'll both like together. You'll agree on everything when it comes to perspectives in life. Because you think the same way, there will rarely be any conflict because there's nothing to disagree on. You'll laugh at the same things and find each other funny. You'll want to end up in the same place in life because your vision of 20 years from now is the same. You'll have the same way of communicating through physical or verbal means and appreciate the same thing from each other. You'll have the same kinks and sexual desires.
So yes... if there was a feminine version of myself (submissive rather than dominant in bed, dresses, speaks, and appears feminine) then yes... I see no reason why I wouldn't date that girl. It's literally what I've been looking for.11 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yGood question to ask.
I f*cked up big time with a bad addiction I had 2 years ago (compulsive gambling). I wouldn’t date myself at that time. But I also took complete responsibility for my mistake. I sought recovery on my own and have worked my ass off to make amends and pay off debt. I am proud of myself of owning up to it. Didn’t lean on anyone. Didn’t seek bailouts. I independently got my sh*t together.
I could date someone who did the same thing. Because it show they have self accountability for their actions.
So the answer is yes again. A cautious yes but still yes now. It was very painful but I manned up and did the right thing.

+1 yHm, its a wild concept since then it would be 2 me... me as a man... n me female that I am
Funny enough I think id be better as a man cause im brave, direct, logical, initiative...
When I try to imagine if I were a guy n would I date a girl like me... to my mind comes that id be afraid to try anything w her... damn what?
But its such a paradox so its hard to say how accurate my answer is...10 Reply
+1 yNo! We would definitely clash. It would be cool enjoying the same things, having the same beliefs, having the same goals….. but we would expect the same things from each other also. For example, if I want my feet massaged, they’re gonna want it too! They’re always gonna want to get the last word in during an argument! They’ll never decide where to eat! It would be a total nightmare!

I have been with someone who was a lot like me, she matched my stubbornness well. In practice we knew that if we were to test our stubbornness the relationship would be over since neither would relent, so we always chose compromise instead knowing it would otherwise end in an ever escalating tie.

@Xia1994 🤣🤣 I love myself but wouldn’t necessarily wanna date me!
2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. It's hard to imagine what a woman version of me would be like. Too many aspects of my personality were developed around my adolescent desire to "stick it into something pretty." This would obviously not apply to a woman and its not immediately obvious how it would translate, either.
10 Reply396 opinions shared on Dating topic. no if i was exactly same with the character, aside from her not believing in love just like me, we would constantly fight at everything and would both be selfish and manipulative.
if only talkingabout looks wise but personality is opposite (at least in most cases) i would, cuz i know i would be one hell of a chick, if there was a score for 1 to 10 i'd score 11.

+1 yYou mean I suddenly meet a female clone of myself? Or like they were born the other gender? Cause if we're born a different gender their life would have been very different and they would be a different person.
Anyway I wouldn't. I ask too many questions, would do my head in10 Reply - 1.9K opinions shared on Dating topic.
+1 yUm... I probably wouldn't. I would want to see some weight loss. I definitely would have dated myself earlier in life, but I've simply gotten too heavy since the pandemic.
That's why I'm pushing to lose weight though. I need to solve the problem.

+1 yLike I said yesterday, a few years ago I found a picture of a girl almost as tall as me that looks like me if I would've been born a girl and, yeah, I'd love to date her!

3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Very likely.
So if I want to move to Thailand, the female myself would too.
if I hate drama and unnecessary noise and fights, so will my female self too.
I am childfree and am uninterested in marriage and my female self would be too.
I say Money is everything and my female self agrees completely.
Like there would be zero conflicts and endless sex sessions and not involving papa and mama government into our private romantic business.

Damn it. I got the question wrong.
If I was a woman, would I date my current self?
I can't say. I don't know first hand how female attraction and the female mind works and whether the average women need drama in their life. I could be everything a girl want in a boy and still continue my existence being single. Conversely if I am not everything a girl could want in a boy, why am I still single?
307 opinions shared on Dating topic. So basically would I date a girl who is the same height/weight as me, but presumably a lot less muscle mass so more body fat%, bigger boobs, butt, but with a vagina instead of dick & balls, longer hair, much less body/facial hair, and a much higher voice, but with my personality? Hmm…yes, but I would tell her to lose weight…and since she has my personality she would understand…

41 Reply No 😭 I wouldn't!
I'm too indecisive and too clumsy, I need someone who's the opposite of me so he can help me with decision making. Also, I would like to date someone who isn't afraid of roaches to help me get rid of them. The two "me"s would agree to buy a new house just to run away from them.

+1 yNo, If I were a woman, I'd still want a woman who thinks like me, so my partner preferences would still be exactly the same as they are now, with the only difference being that if I were a woman, I'd be a lesbian.
