+1 yI'm personally not into questions so much. Sometimes people approach dating almost like an interview and I start to feel as though I'm applying for a job rather than getting to know someone.
So I prefer we just have a very dynamic conversation where we take turns sharing things about each other and let the conversation go where it may without having to prompt each other all the time with questions like, "What's your job? What Why did you pick that job? are your interests? What's your favorite color?"
Of course some questions will naturally arise. Those are fine to me. Yet I don't want to talk to someone who seems as though they have a list of questions to ask me in advance.

Very much. The problem to me is that I do enjoy sharing things about myself, but if the other person is just slamming with Q after Q, then it starts to seem like I'm sharing everything about myself and they're sharing little about themselves unless I start to hit them with Q after Q and I'm not very good at interviewing people that way.
So I like convos that wander all over the place. We just kind of pick up on things we last said to each other and share a thought very spontaneously and take turns this way. - +1 y
It's a weak point of mine and apparently ENFPs in general. I've heard people complain that ENFPs don't ask enough questions. I find with my wife though (she's INFP) that she just shares as freely as I do as an open book so it keeps the conversation flowing although sometimes in the most random ways.
- +1 y
Totally! Also, did you know that potatoes were banned in France during the 18th century?
- +1 y
Selective responses more! I usually hear the whole thing but sometimes I don't know how to respond so I just pick the first thing that pops into my brain. 😅
- +1 y
She'll talk your ear off about how silly and random I am. It used to embarrass me a bit with the way she tells everyone how weird I am. I've gotten used to it though and I feel loved that she talks about me all the time. 😅
Also I'm not actually random. There's a connection there always. For example, there was a time when my friend asked me to pass her the ketchup.
Her: Could you pass me the ketchup:
Me: Sure! Do you like zombie movies?
Then my friends all stopped talking and one said, "What? What type of segue is that? 'Pass me the ketchup. Zombie films?' What?"
But I explained it to them that I'm a fan of zombie movies and the ketchup reminded of how some really low-budget zombie films used ketchup as a cheap practical effect for blood. So it wasn't random at all! - +1 y
I really suspected I have it for a strong while given how random my brain is and how I have this whirlwind of random thoughts whenever I'm idle. 😅
That said, I was a teacher's pet 4.0 GPA student in high school and uni which is generally not associated with ADHD (typically ADHD students have difficult concentrating in class to my understanding). Also took online focus tests designed to detect ADHD and I passed on the opposite end with the highest score in focus possible (the opposite of what a person with ADHD should score).
It's a weird paradox since I still do have behaviors which seem like ADHD, although apparently that's true of ENFPs in general:![Guys, what are somethings you’d like a girl to ask on dates or talking phase?]()

I'm also a total chatterbox as you can probably tell from my writing on here. I got a complete motor mouth and tend to speak before I really think and my mouth gets me into trouble sometimes! Yet people who know me in person always say I'm a really good listener.![Guys, what are somethings you’d like a girl to ask on dates or talking phase?]()
I think we're just total weirdos. 😂 - +1 y
I could definitely accept that. It might simplify things a bit if I just tell people I'm ADHD. 😅"Ohh, that makes total sense!"
- +1 y
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 yeah let’s just put on nerdy glasses and open our next chapter in our textbook to page 1000 on Introduction to Diagnosis of ADHD and symptoms it consist of hahaha.
I think it’s always good to educate others (including friends and family) on what you’re going through, so they have a better understanding where you’re coming from, how you processed your cognitive thinking, and interpersonal skills :) - +1 y
For sure, although I think they all understand it now. Do you like Minestrone soup by any chance? I really enjoy it and it reminds me of going to Denny's when I was a kid.
- +1 y
Wow, I thought everyone knew about Minestrone! It's an Italian one made from stock, tomatoes, celery, beans, onions, carrots, tomatoes, pasta (although I just found out while looking it up that it can sometimes have rice), and possibly some additional stuff. Looks like this:

Very easy and simple soup, tastes of tomatoes and veggies and stock. I was thinking about it since you mentioned interpersonal skills and something about that made me think about Minestrone soup with all the interactions going on between the ingredients.

+1 yI'd rather a conversation about something deep, meaningful like a shared interest as opposed to an interview-like scenario.
i feel like questions feel very formal. Instead ask me where we should go next, what do together to further establish a bond and find out whether our chemistry works or not. I don't like explaining my life story in one go rather it should be something that she finds out indirectly through my actions and how I treat her/others

+1 yIt's always a good sign if she's geniuenly interested in the things I'm saying, even if she isn't personally interested. I don't really have a list of questions I'm hoping she'll ask, I just like to chat about things. Just going with the flow usually leads to figuring out if we share common interests or the same type of humour. Save the more intense questions for a little later on.

Stop crying, I didn't delete it lol
Curiosity has always been my biggest turn on. Ask questions that have depth and especially ones you are curious about. I have a problem where I answer questions I am asked and nothing else. Maybe that's why I like this site. My best date was with an auditor that makes asking the right questions her living. It was yin amd yang. She wanted to know things and didn't fuck around.

Hahaha oh my, I’ve never heard of this, sounds delishhh! Where do you go buy it? 😄 I’m actually a broccoli girl, so this is intriguing me lolz. Low key reminds me of the famous Panera bread’s broccoli cheddar soup 😋
My favorite soup must be clam chowder soup that’s in a big bread esp when you get it by the seaside, it’s almost like you can taste the fresh sea with goodness! Or Olive Garden’s chicken gnocchi soup, nomnom~
